FAQs
When do you operate?
We operate daily from the 1st May to the 15th September. Should I pre-book my Balloon Safari? We highly recommend pre-booking your Balloon Safari as there are limited spaces available on the hot air balloon.

Yes. As the Balloon Safari takes place at sunrise, accommodation needs to be booked at one of the Hotels/ Lodges in the Kasane and Chobe area, or at one of the Lodges/ Camps situated within closer proximity to the flying area. See our hot air ballooning and Accommodation options.
What Should I bring?
We advise passengers to bring cameras, binoculars, hats, and sunscreen. The early mornings can be cool in temperature but does increase quickly through the morning, so wearing layered clothing to adjust to the temperature is recommended.

How long is the experience?
The entire experience from pick up to drop off is approximately 6 hours. The Balloon Safari flight time is approximately 1 hour in duration.
How do I get to the Balloon Safari?
AirVentures will pick you up and return you to your accommodation venue in the Kasane Area. Pick ups from camps within closer vicinity to the flying area can be organised upon prior arrangement.
